Vakils created localised and personalised websites for a global pharmaceutical company

Objective:

A global pharmaceutical company reached out to Vakils to develop a versatile web portal for healthcare professionals and patients, ensuring accessibility across devices and convenient engagement.

The web portal should have the following features:

Challenges:

  • The layout and theme of the website must be the same across the globe, and local countries should have access to control any changes to the original layout
  • Adapting the localised content to the original (English) artwork with more than 60 pages is time consuming and costly

Localisation:

  • Vakils made any changes that there may be as per the sitemap
  • We uploaded the translated content to the local website
  • Our team did the necessary content migration and fixed the layouts, which may be affected because of translations

Personalisation:

In addition, Vakils developed a single sign-on feature for the website that connected to both the CXM platform and the streaming platform to provide the best user experience

  • The unique, single sign-on-based login feature enables HCPs to log in to the website if the HCP opts-in through any omni channel. The opt-in information is stored in the CXM platform connected to the website. The website verifies the information from the CXM platform and automatically registers the HCP
  • In the event that the HCP has not opted in through any channel, the website works as a channel to opt-in the HCP and synchronise the opt-in information with the CXM platform
  • The website further connects to a streaming platform, which logs in the HCP, if the HCP opens the platform from the website. An added benefit is that the content of the website is bespoke to the HCPs speciality, making it more relevant and impactful
